Hannah Fennelly will be running this Years 2021 London Marathon

On Sunday 3rd October 2021, Head of Experience & Organisational Development Hannah Fennelly, will be completing the epic challenge of participating in this years London marathon. Hannah will be running this years London marathon supporting Tommy’s, the baby charity.

Tommy’s the baby charity supports any parents who experience baby loss at any stage of pregnancy and have recently made some incredible breakthroughs in their research and recently taken to parliament with a petition to provide more support through miscarriage. They are the largest charity in the United Kingdom carrying out research into the causes of still birth, misscarriage and premature birth. “I am excited to be taking part in this remarkable event running for a charity I have been supporting for over three years. It’s a difficult and awkward subject but one we need to tackle more head on to get a better understanding of the emotional impact it has on our mental health too. It means so much that I can run for them and raise as much funds and awareness around baby loss by completing such a big challenge.”

Hannah will be one of the 50,000 participants running just over 26.2 miles through some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Her journey will begin at Blackheath, passing through her hometown Greenwhich before crossing the Thames over London Tower Bridge. The route will continue through central London turing around the peaks of Canary Wharf, along Victoria Embankment and finally ending infront of Buckingham Palace.
