We’re excited to announce that Ben Waldron has stepped into a brand‑new role at MCBS as Talent Development Lead.

This is a major step for us. As MCBS continues to scale, this role reinforces our long‑term commitment to developing our people and investing in the future of our industry.

With 38 years of experience and a proven track record as a Project Manager and former Director, Ben brings unrivalled insight into live site environments, technical delivery, and the high standards we expect across every project.

In his new role, Ben will act as a technical mentor to new team members and apprentices, supporting their growth both on site and in the classroom. Crucially, Ben will continue to project manage the sites where our apprentices work, ensuring that real-time, hands‑on learning is deeply embedded into project delivery. He will also play a key role in identifying and recruiting the next generation of MCBS apprentices, helping drive our ambitious 50 by 2035 goal – developing fifty highly skilled electrical engineers through our in‑house programme.

For us, developing people isn’t a buzzword – it’s how we build sustainable success for our clients, our team, and the wider industry.

Massive congratulations to Ben – This next chapter is an exciting one, and the impact he’ll make will be felt across MCBS for years to come.
