The Lakes – ECT Refurbishment

We’re proud to have completed the full electrical refurbishment of the ECT area at The Lakes Mental Health Hospital in Colchester, delivered in partnership with Stroods.

Our team worked closely with site staff and stakeholders to ensure patient wellbeing, safety, and operational continuity remained the top priority. This meant carefully planned works, clear communication, and adapting our approach in real time to suit the environment.

Delivered between November 2025 to March 2026, the project required a considered and flexible approach, balancing programme demands with the unique challenges of working in a sensitive clinical setting. By maintaining a strong on-site presence, collaborating closely with the main contractor and drawing on our experience in complex healthcare environements, we were able to deliver a high-quality, compliant solution with minimal disruption.
